UNUSUAL 1930s METAMORPHIC CHAIR/BED AND STOOL
in textured fabric upholstery, the oak framed chair with fold out arms to form shelves, a lectern which can be stored in compartment under the seat or in the chrome holders, complete with a circular drinks tray raised on pole support with fittings on each side of the chair, one side with height adjustable screw mechanism, the chair fully reclines and attaches to the footstool to form a bed, the chair is raised on wheels and the footstool on casters
Note: The vendor believes the chair was commissioned for the Burgess of Aberdeen (head of the guild of craftsmen)
